Iqra: Learning as a Sacred Beginning

Ramadan progress isn’t perfection—it’s returning. Begin here, with intention, and let this day move you closer to Allah with gentleness.

Quote: “Read… in the Name of your Lord Who created…” (Qur’an 96:1–5)

Islam begins with learning. Not learning for ego—but learning in the Name of Allah, with humility and purpose.

How yoga helps you embody this teaching

Yoga can become a laboratory of learning: how breath affects mood, how stress lives in the shoulders, how patience can be practiced, not just preached. When you approach the body with adab and gratitude, you are “reading” Allah’s signs within your own creation—then returning that insight to worship and service.

Practice: Study the Breath (90 seconds)

Sit quietly and observe the breath as it is. No fixing. Just learning. Then whisper: “Alhamdulillah for what You teach me.”
